Yankee Covered Bridge Serving Board

Description

Set your table with iconic New England and Yankee history with the Yankee Covered Bridge Serving Board. The artwork was originally created by Beatrix Sagendorph and appeared on the cover of the May 1953 issue of Yankee.

We worked with J.K. Adams to transfer the artwork to a stunning cutting/serving board. Each board is made of cherry and laser-cut to achieve precise design work. These boards are sure to be the centerpiece at any gathering.

Beatrix Thorne Sagendorph (1900-1985) founded Yankee magazine together with her husband Robb Sagendorph in 1935. Her paintings and illustrations appeared in Yankee for decades; she provided almost all of the cover artwork for 30 years, most commonly black-and-white scratchboard art of New England scenery.
